17 Day Diet- Cycle 2 Day 3

I have been doing some research and a few days ago I came across the 30 Day Abs Challenge. And I thought to myself, I really need a good core workout.

I don't know about you but my core is the weakest part of my body. Give me an arm workout or a leg workout and I am there. But a core workout?

Please...I can already hear the crickets.

So anyways, I clicked on the pin to see what it was all about. The workout consists of various abs workouts that total 300 reps per day.

Here is what you do:

In-N-Outs- 25 reps.

Bicycles- 25 reps.

Crunchy Frog- 25 reps.

Cross-Leg/Wide Leg Sit-ups- 25 reps. per side

Scissors- 25 reps.

Hip-Butt Ups- 25 reps.

Heels to Heavens- 25 reps.

Roll-up/V-sit ups- 25 reps.

Leg Climbers- 25 reps.

Kayakers- 25 reps.

Stretching:

Cobra Strech

Child sit

Today was day one of this because it is now or never and who doesn't want a flat tummy. I know I do! I wanna be svelte!

So I took measurements and marched myself to the gym. Because I was going to conquer this! I did a quick 10 min. warm up on the treadmill and then got to it.

And let me just say it got me. It was HARD! Not the moves particularly but because my core is so weak.

I can not believe how far my core has gone but I am hoping that the next 30 days will tighten it up.

One of my best friends Liz over at Amber Dreams is going through the workout as well. I am going to check back with measurements through out the journey. So wish us luck!

My eating today was pretty boring so I didn't end up taking a bunch of pictures.

Breakfast was oatmeal with raisans, dates, and walnuts.



I found it in the pantry and I was really excited to try it. I don't recall ever having dates before but it was really good! Friday I will definitely have another bowl!


Lunch was a chicken leg and yogurt.

Dinner was two chicken legs, green beans, and rice. I had a double serving of pineapple measured out but I just wasn't hungry for it.

So tomorrow it is my goal to get through the 300 Abs Challenge, no matter how hard it takes!
