Perillo's Pizzeria- Restaurants in Review

We all eat out every now and again. So I've decided to start another series: "Restaurants in Review." It's pretty straight forward. When ever I go some place new or noteworthy I'll let you all know how it went, what types of foods they have, and such.

This time around we went out to an Italian restaurant in North Salem, IN that recently opened. Perillo's Pizzeria.

Now I've had their pizza carried out before but this was my first sit down experience. And I must say I came away a very happy girl.

On a side note, their slices of pizza are some of the biggest I have ever seen in my life!

The menu had a nice selection of pasta dishes, sandwiches, and calzones and the prices were very reasonable.

We started out our meal with cheesy yeast rolls. They came out hot and they were as delicious as they look.

I decided to go with one of the calzones. I can't remember exactly the name of it but it had sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni, cheese, peppers, onions, and red sauce in it, among other things.

Let me tell you what it was one of the best calzones I have had in a while!

It was wonderful but I couldn't finish it and still have room for what I really wanted...dessert!

Our checks came out before I officially decided to get dessert so while paying I just had the cashier add it on to our check.

While I was waiting I got a few pictures of the outside. It's really a cute little place but I bet before long they will have to expand or move to a bigger location.

They have an outdoor seating area as well. Next time we go I hope that it is cool enough to sit outside.

Canolli! One of my very favorite desserts! I got mine to-go but don't let that fool you, it was gone with in the first few minutes of being home.

The sauce was really nice and dark. I'm sure it wouldn't have been so melting so bad if it hadn't been so hot. Here in Indiana it has stayed between 95 and 100F most days. And NO rain!

In short Perillo's Pizzeria is really worth a stop. It has great food, great service, and the prices were very, very reasonable.

If you want to know more specifics check them out on Facebook!

Until next time, go and try a new restaurant!
