17 Day Diet- Cycle 2 Day 2

I though today was going to be really hard since I was going to have to revert back to the cycle one foods but really is wasn't too bad!

It has been so hot, literally 100F today, that after my walk all I wanted to was to rehydrate and eat some fruit.

Breakfast was simple: yogurt, applesauce, and a multivitamin and then lunch was yogurt and fruit.

Let me tell you what, my walk almost killed me. Not because it was hard but because it was so hot! And it literally sucks everything out of you. I though I had hydrated enough before and during but it was definitely not enough.

I'm so glad I went though. Tomorrow my fiance and I are going to the 30 min circut at Planet Fitness. I am also going to be starting a 30 Day Ab Challenge. I'll have more about that tomorrow though.

My friend Bobbi brought me a tomatoe from our garden. It's the first fruit so to speak of our garden. I'm so glad that we were able to produce something since it has been so hot and we haven't had rain for 2 months. But these plants won't give up!

Later on in the fall we are going to can!

Dinner was baked BBQ chicken legs and broccoli cuts with skim cheese. This chicken is so great because it is literally 3 ingredients, 2 if you want it to be. The recipe is at the bottom if you'd like to try it!

I just buy a pack of chicken legs from the store, place in a 13X9in dish and then pour whatever BBQ sauce is around the house.

You can mix and match and it always comes out good!

On half of the batch before I put the BBQ sauce on it I sprinkled Jerk seasoning on it. It's really tasty!

And then just bake!

Yum...

Barbeque Chicken Legs

One pack chicken legs, thawed
Jerk Seasoning, opt
1 bottle BBQ sauce

Preheat oven to 375 F

Arranged chicken in 13X9in pan

Sprinkle with seasoning and then pour over sauce

Bake for 45 mins

Enjoy!

Told ya it was easy! So make it tomorrow!

And your family will dig in!
