After a weekend break from the diet I am ready to hop back onto the swing of things. My results were what I was expecting. Between stress, sickness, and sleep deprivation from the second half of the diet I ended up losing all that I had gained and am now back at 29 pounds lost. My goal is to loss 5 pounds in cycle 2.
Today has been a stellar day as far as eating healthy and exercising!
For breakfast I had some applesauce with cinnamon and a packet of sweetener and a tub of fat free lemon yogurt.
My fiance and I went to the gym this morning and I did 30 mins. on the elliptical trainer. I had my new bridal magazine to entertain me. It was great! And not to mention motivating. We also busted out some lower body strength training.
It felt great to be back at the gym! So worth the trip. Honestly I felt better when I left then when I went in!
For lunch I added in my first natural starch of the day.
Here we have green beans, 4 oz of eye of round steak, and a serving of wild rice.
I almost forgot my multivitamin! I love the gummy kind and to make it even better they were buy one, get one at the pharmacy this week.
In the afternoon I had some more apple sauce and then for dinner I had the leftovers of my calzone from Saturday. It was delicious! The inside was full of veggies, mushrooms, and different kinds of meat.
I didn't get a picture of it today but I did get a picture of it when I was at the restaurant.
I was really hungry even after eating so I had a spoon full of peanut butter and now I feel a lot better!
Thanks for being patient and hanging on for the ride!
Until tomorrow!
