Thanksgiving at our house

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! My parents host it at our house every year and I love that. But I can't lie and say that next year it will be kind of nice to just show up and cook my food in my own kitchen!

I took a bunch of pictures...mostly of the food! But I hope you enjoy them and I hope that you are enjoying your time off before the Christmas season really kicks in!

It is not a holiday at our house without an Italian Cream cake! My aunt Becki always make it and it's wonderful!

24 pounds of Turkey bliss!

This is my Aunt Sandy's layered salad! As yummy as it was pretty!

24 pounds of turkey isn't enough for us...there are some chicken legs around there somewhere!

My corn casserole was great! I changed the recipe and I'm glad I did! You can get it tomorrow as part of my holiday recipe series.

And the pie that I fret over: The Sugar Cream Pie! Completely homemade, and I'm proud of it!
