Wedding Wednesdays- The Thursday Edition

I know, I know, it's not Wednesday but because I totally spaced posting this yesterday it's up today! Wedding Wednesdays has been on hiatus for the past couple of weeks but I am glad to announce that we are up and running again.

To be honest I went through a few different themes for this post but they are now on the drawing room floor. From carnations, to Natalie Portman's wedding, to wedding bands. They just weren't working for me.

So I figured an update on my own wedding would have to suffice. And you all are cool with that right?

That's what I thought!

A lot of people have been asking if we have set a date yet. And the answer to that is YES! We have have indeed set a date after, oh, six months of engagement.

I think it's funny that people haven't noticed a pattern about us. It only took us about 5 years of knowing each other to actually have a conversation, another 15 months of being friends to start dating, and then over three years to get engaged.

But anyways back to the juicy stuff...we have set a date in September of next year but are holding off saying exactly when until we have a reception venue officially booked. Those of you who know me, know this wedding has been in the works since I was about 6 or 7 years old so as soon as the big items settled I will be in full planning mode.

Also, even though its in September there will be NO leaves, pumpkins, or orange found at this wedding! I'm sorry but that is just not me and you have to admit that September is really only late summer.
