Fruit Pizza

One of the easiest recipes in the world and the most satisfying for the sweet tooth is fruit pizza. It is one of my absolute favorites to make for parties or even breakfast.

We have been making almost daily trips to the farmers market and it has been fantastic. I absolutely love fresh fruit!

So first off you need to start with a roll of store bought cookie dough.

Cut it into slices like you were making cookies and lay then in the bottom of a jelly roll pan or on a baking sheet.

Press them together until the bottom is covered and bake according to the directions on the package.

Let it sit and cool completely! You don't want the icing to melt off and the fruit to get mushy.

Also don't be like me and sit your pan on top of a burner that is still hot! Stupid flat top stoves...

Anyways...while that is cooling mix together a block of soften cream cheese and a 1/4 cup of sugar. I used the low fat kind because that's what I had.

You can also put in a 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract but I didn't have any.

The after that is combine spread onto the completely cooled cookie.

And now to the fruit!

So fresh and yummy!

It has hair!

I have used various combinations of fruit for fruit pizzas. Another great combo is strawberries and peaches. So it's whatever!

Fruit Pizza

1 roll sugar cookie dough
1 package cream cheese; softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Various fruit- 3-4 cups worth

Preheat oven according to packaged sugar cookie dough directions.

Cut cookie dough into slices and arrange in the bottom of a pan. Press together to form one big cookie.

Bake according to directions.

Cool completely when done.

Mix cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar together.

Spread on top of cooled sugar cookie.

Arrange fruit on top of pizza.

Cool for two hours.

Enjoy!

Happy 4th everyone!
