Strawberry-Peach Smoothie

I have more than once looked at the apple sitting on my desk and thought, blah... not another boring piece of fruit... So now is the time to be creative. The 17 Day Diet requires two servings of fruit and two servings of probiotics, mostly likely yogurt, so what better way to get two out of the way then a sweet and cool smoothie.

This one in particular I made a few times during my first round of the 17 DD and I loved it! Of course you don't have to be on the diet to enjoy this smoothie.

This recipe is for one serving but I would make more. Because I promise you, you'll be pouring this lovely, thick, pink luxuriousness into your cup and your sister will come up to you with puppy eye's and want some, and then your other sister, and then your fiance will come over and...

Well that's probably an exaggeration, but I digress.

First, here's what you need:

Start out with about 3/4 cup of yogurt. I usually use Dannon Light and Fit but one of my pesky sisters probably snarfed it down.

 Cup O'Strawberries

 Cup O' Peaches

Tablespoon of vanilla...as you can see I'm not much of a measurer. I'm pretty sure that's not a word, but you all understand.

A tablespoon of honey. I ended up putting a few packets of Splenda in because the honey was just not enough sweetness for me.

A dash of cinnamon.

A splash of milk. This was about a 1/4 of a cup. I know milk isn't first cycle approve, but really, whose going to tell?

Mix away!

Pretty, pretty pink with sprinkles on top!

Well, no. That's weird but a fresh peach would work just as well.

Yummy! Make this today, you won't regret it!
