You can ask any of my friends and they would tell you that I indeed have a slight obsession with Princess Catherine. I love her style, they way to she presents herself, and just the fact that she is a princess.
Over the years I have loosely followed her and Prince Williams relationship. Royal's in general have been a sort of fascination for me. But I find that Princess Catherine is what I would consider a modern royal. Things really picked up when they announced their engagement back in November of 2010 and I must admit they I watched the entire 3 hours of coverage of their wedding.
But I digress.
Like I said, her style is one thing that I love to follow. It is so wearable for the average person. Of course she was a commoner herself.
One of the blogs that does a really good job at tracking down her style is the Kate Middleton Fashion Blog. Which you can go to here. So if you ever want to track down what she wears and find what pieces that are similar, this is definitely the site to go to!
One of these finds I found myself. While out shopping a few months ago with some of my friends I found these shoes from JCPenney's the are very similar to a pair that Princess Catherine wore.

These wedges are from one of Princess Catherine's favorite designer, L.K. Bennett. And they retail for about $265.
We all have a budget for those kind of shoes right?
Right?
Anyone?
So back to the story, as my friends and I were walking by the shoe section I nearly break my neck as I turn around to see these beauties.
My friends almost the EXACT same shoe! In my obsession of all things Kate Middleton I threw my shoes off and immediately put these on.
When I was at the store these were only $35. I believe that the price is really reasonable because the shoe is so versatile.
I just check and now they are on sale for $17. You can find them here. That is really a steal!
Well enough of my ramblings! Hope you all are having an awesome day!
Go and check out Princess Kate's style!

I share your fascination with The Royals. :-) My grandmother and mother kept scrapbooks of the royals of their day. I took a "personal day" off work and watched the TV coverage when Diana and Charles were married. :-) I also watched the TV coverage of Catherine and Williams' wedding. Girls still dream of being a princess on their wedding day, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree! It is how I want to feel on my wedding as well! Thanks for the comment Miss Mary Ester!
